I live in Montrose. It is worth it to find a driver to help me make the BASALT turn around once a month. Interacting with an ophthalmologist who knows precisely what he is doing, can convey it to me and answer any questions I may have with respect, interest and sometimes even humor, is a godsend.i hav I found none of those qualities in Montrose or Grand Junction.. And of the three Denver doctors who satellite to BASALT in monthly rotation, Dr. CHOD is the fastest shooter in the West.

Dr. Seems competent but the practice needs to be better managed. The waiting room is packed like an overworked ER . It was my third visit and every visit there have been major computer problems and delays with the equipment. When charts and results can not be located it doesnt build confidence. While I was waiting for the drops to kick in I recieved a message telling me I did not show up for my appt. And I will be charged a no show fee. It seems they try to fit in too many patients and the feeling I got as a patient was like I was just billable number rather than a person.
